It is used in bronchitis or COPD for reducing inflammation of respiratory tract or bronchi. It helps to dilate bronchi and eases breathing. Due to this pharmacological action, Kanakasavam is helpful in asthmatic attacks. It is also beneficial well in chronic problems related to difficulties in breathing.
