Saribadyasavam

Sarivadyasavam is an Ayurveda formulation useful for purifying blood and treating various skin diseases. It is also used in rheumatic arthritis, gout, syphilis, fistula, kidney problems, kidney stones, prostate enlargement and hypertension.

Main Ingredients of Saribadyasavam 

Hemidesmus indicus, ficus bengalensis, curcuma zedoaria are main ingredients of Saribadyasavam.

Ayurveda Pharmacological action of Sarivadyasavam 

Saribadyasavam  pacifies all three humors but it has its great impact over the pitta and kapha diseases. It acts as a blood purifiers so used in skin ailments. It may be helpful in pimples or acne vulgaris due to its anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial effects. Due to its considered efficacy against microbes or bacteria, it may also be beneficial in chronic syphilis. However, other medicines may also be required for proper treatment of syphilis.

Saribadyasavam is considered a diuretic in action so it may also be useful in dysuria or other urinary troubles such as kidney stone.

Saribadyasavam has considered to possess analgesic as well as anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to reduce swelling and pain in the joints. In cases of gout or hyperuricemia, it may help to increase excretion of uric acid from the kidneys. Due to its analgesic effect, it may reduce pain of small joints caused by gouty arthritis.
